In a recent address to the Empire State Republicans, Rita Palma, a high-ranking official in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign and a staunch anti-vaccine advocate, revealed her primary objective: to thwart President Joe Biden's bid for reelection in the upcoming November polls.

Palma, who also heads Kennedy's New York State operation, referred to Biden as "our mutual enemy."

During her thirty-minute speech, Palma unveiled her strategy to undermine Biden's campaign, stating that his defeat was her "number one priority." She said, "Right now, the task we have at hand is collecting 45,000 signatures to get Bobby on the ballot." Palma, a fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump, expressed her disappointment with Trump's stance on vaccines, which led to her shift in allegiance.

A video of the meeting, which was initially uploaded on YouTube but has since been removed, captured Palma's plans to divert votes from Biden. She acknowledged that her efforts might not secure a victory for Kennedy, but she would not be "overly upset" if Trump emerged victorious. However, she expressed grave concern about a potential Biden win, stating, "he's ruining America," and accusing those who control him of destroying the country.

Palma's organization, My Kids, My Choice, offers resources for parents seeking religious exemptions to vaccinate their children. Her now-private social media profile identifies her as a "vaccine choice OG," with the statement "ALL vaccines have problems."

Despite multiple attempts to reach her, Palma did not respond to requests for comment. Her voicemail was full and unable to accept messages as of Monday.

Reacting to Palma's comments, Democratic National Committee spokesperson Matt Corridoni issued a statement on Monday. He said, "RFK Jr.'s campaign is saying the quiet part out loud: he is a spoiler for Donald Trump." Corridoni further accused Kennedy's campaign of being a tool for Trump's allies and his largest donor, with the primary goal of stopping Biden.

In her address, Palma, who identifies her political leanings as "right of center," urged Republicans to accept that several states, including New York, Maryland, Illinois, California, New Jersey, and Connecticut, would likely vote Democrat. She claimed that Kennedy was attracting votes from both sides but was pulling more from Biden, leading to the Democratic National Committee's concerted efforts to keep him off the ballot.

Palma proposed a strategy to block Biden from winning the presidency, suggesting that Republicans cast their votes for Kennedy to secure New York's 28 electoral votes. She explained that if no candidate reached the 270 electoral vote threshold, Congress would choose the president, and a Republican Congress would likely select Trump.

Palma also revealed that she had recently rejoined the Kennedy campaign after initially quitting last summer. She admitted that her campaign message of "make your red vote count" was unusual as it seemed to promote Kennedy based on Biden's perceived failures rather than Kennedy's merits. However, she claimed that many people she spoke to found the idea appealing.

Palma stated that she agreed to serve as the New York State director on the condition that she could promote her strategy, which she believed was a winning one. She plans to disseminate her message through radio stations, conservative outlets, local publications, and individuals with strong social media followings.

Palma urged the audience to sign petitions to get Kennedy on the New York ballot, even if they did not plan to vote for him, to ensure Biden's defeat. She said, "We're just spicing up the election. We're just making it more interesting… We're all on the same team right now, and we'll be on the same team later—as long as Trump or Kennedy wins."

Palma portrayed Kennedy as a Trump-like figure on immigration, asserting that he believes in closing the border. She also suggested that Kennedy's familial connections to past presidents would enable him to hit the ground running if elected.

In a social media post last week, Palma reiterated her strategy, writing, "Just a friendly reminder, NY, Cali, Illinois, CT, NJ, MD … let's take those votes from Biden so Joe's a loser."

On April 28, Palma will co-host a private reception for Kennedy in Melville, New York. Tickets are available at various levels, with the highest tier donors entitled to "heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails," according to the invitation.
