In a recent interview with the New York Post, Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman expressed his strong disapproval of squatters, questioning the legality of their actions.

He was quoted as saying, "Squatters have no rights. How can you even pretend that this is anything other than you’re just breaking the law?"

Fetterman's comments come amid an ongoing issue with squatters across the United States, causing distress for homeowners. He further expressed his disbelief at the current situation, stating, "It’s wild, that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into your home and suddenly they have rights. This is crazy. Like if somebody stole your car, and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?"

In the same interview, Fetterman also voiced his opinion on crime policy, advocating for a more intelligent and assertive approach. He criticized the leniency shown towards repeat offenders, particularly referencing the alleged shooter of NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller, who had several prior arrests. "If you have those kinds of established records, it doesn’t serve any greater goal to allow people that are offending, offending, offending and allow them to not be held accountable," Fetterman said.

Despite facing opposition from within his party, Fetterman has maintained his staunch support for Israel. He disagreed with fellow Democrat, Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, who had called for a change in the Israeli government. "It’s reasonable if you want to criticize, but to call for effectively…like a regime change, I disagree," Fetterman told the Post. "I didn’t agree because Israel is a democracy, it is our key special ally. And our nation wouldn’t appreciate any kind of foreign input. So why should we do that for Israel?"

Fetterman, a firm supporter of President Biden, also discussed the upcoming election, predicting a close race between Biden and Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. However, he remained confident in a Biden victory, stating, "It’s going to be very close. Trump is going to be incredibly strong in Pennsylvania."
