The group cited its inability to identify a "hero" candidate capable of challenging both President Biden and former President Trump as the reason for its decision.
The announcement was met with a sense of triumph from both Republican and Democratic strategists. During a CNN discussion on Friday morning, they expressed their views on No Labels' unsuccessful attempt to secure a viable contender.
Republican strategist Sarah Longwell commented, "It was silly from the beginning. It was poorly run, poorly executed."
On the other hand, Democratic strategist Karen Finney perceived No Labels as a "dangerous" risk to Biden's re-election prospects. She revealed that Democrats, including herself, had actively sought to counteract this threat.

"They were very dangerous because they had over $70 million to get on the ballot," Finney recalled. "They were promising that they could win states like Texas. It was totally illogical, but it was a very real threat that myself and others worked very hard to not just undermine, but to make sure that the people they were talking to understood, that their rhetoric just did not work, and their math did not work," she elaborated.

Joe Cunningham, No Labels National Political Director, shared with Fox News on Thursday that the decision to abandon their search for a third-party presidential candidate was not taken lightly.
"Let me say, it's not for lack of trying," Cunningham stated on "Your World." "The short answer is that to field this ticket, No Labels was looking for a hero, and a hero never emerged."

As the November election approaches, Democrat strategists and Biden allies have been expressing increasing concern about the potential threat a third-party candidate could pose to Biden's campaign.
Last month, Jen Psaki, MSNBC host and former White House press secretary, identified third-party presidential candidates like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as the "biggest challenge" to Biden’s re-election chances.

"There is an aggressive effort that the campaign has been working with the Democratic National Committee on to run on this, but it needs to be broad, people need to be shouting it from the rooftops because this is one of the biggest threats to Joe Biden being re-elected — is these third-party candidates," the former White House official emphasized.
