As Nicholas John Roske, the 26-year-old suspect in the assassination attempt of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to charges levied against him, questions are arising as if Nancy Pelosi wanted the assassin to succeed.

The resident of Simi Valley, California was arrested on June 8 outside of the SCOTUS justice's home in a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C. after making violent threats toward Kavanaugh's life. Meanwhile, Pelosi dragged her feet in getting the Justices more security and refused to condemn the unconstitutional intimidation protests happening every day in front of conservative Justices' homes. In fact, she has encouraged them.

Roske was reported to have been carrying a gun and a knife, as well as burglary tools, and supposedly announced that he "wanted to kill" Kavanaugh, one of the court's conservative-leaning justices.

According to an FBI affidavit, Roske was carrying a suitcase armed with a Glock-17 pistol, two magazine clips, a speed loader, a tactical knife, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch and a crowbar.

After flying from California to Washington D.C., Roske drove to Kavanaugh's home with the single intent to "kill Kavanaugh" and then himself, court documents reveal. Roske called 911 detailing the threats which led to his arrest.

Speaking with detectives at the Montgomery County Police Department Second District Precinct, Roske announced that "he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision about the right to abortion as well as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas," the affidavit declared.

"Roske stated that he began thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill the Supreme Court Justice," according to the affidavit.

If convicted, Roske faces a maximum sentence to life in prison. His trial is set to start on August 23.

After being apprehended, the man told officials he was upset over the Supreme Court's apparent plan to reverse Roe v. Wade, a choice that has ignited debate and protests across the country.

Following the leaked declaration in May, pro-choice activists descended upon the homes of supreme court justices numerous times, with very little pushback from those in power.

When the White House was asked about Biden views on protesters demonstrating outside the homes of justices, outgoing Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, "The President believes in peaceful protest," and pressed activists to proceed the practice.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer targeted Kavanaugh in a speech to pro-choice activists.

"I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind," Schumer announced," and you will pay the price."

"You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions," he went on.
