A member of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s family has taken a vital position in the Biden Administration’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

On Monday, the department declared that Alexis Pelosi has been appointed as a senior adviser in HUD’s Office of Community Planning and Development. The office is centered on guaranteeing continuity of service and livability in government-assisted areas. It guarantees job availability, assistance to local businesses, real estate acquisition, demolition, and more.

Fox News Digital asked the HUD press office if Nancy Pelosi was involved in the appointment. “Alexis’ appointment is the result of her demonstrated background in housing and policy,” HUD explained. “We are excited to welcome her to the team.”
