The poll, conducted from March 18-22 and consisting of 790 registered voters, measured the most and least popular stances candidates hold ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
The survey revealed 75% of respondents were more likely to vote for a candidate who supports and wishes to fund the police, whereas only 11% were less likely to vote for said candidate. Conversely, 73% of respondents were less likely to vote for someone who supported measures stripping funds away from law enforcement.

Other popular stances included supporting a bipartisan infrastructure bill, wanting to do more to support Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion, and lowering drug costs.

The least popular selling point for candidates is an endorsement from Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, as revealed by the data. Merely 7% of voters would be more likely to vote for someone with her endorsement.

According to the survey, people were 54% less likely to vote for a candidate who says former President Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election. Likewise, they were 47% less likely to support a candidate who received the former leader’s endorsement.

On Wednesday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the House GOP’s re-election arm, upped the number of Democratic-held districts it’s targeting from 70 to 72. The move comes as the once-in-a-decade redistricting process of congressional seats is close to completion. “As you can see from these targets … we’re going to be playing in Biden territory,” NRCC Chair Rep. Tom Emmer stated.
