In October and November of 2020 during the election, the Biden team exploited the long waits for covid tests, claiming when he became president there would be enough tests, and infrastructure for all and there would be no 'hours long' lines to wait for a test. December 2020, then President-elect Biden attempted to hold Trump’s feet to the fire over his COVID-19 response and took particular issue with the lack of available testing for Americans. The Washington Post reported that at the time, Biden dubbed the lack of testing a "travesty."
