Even As Durham Indicts Her Helpers, Hillary Clinton Has No Plans Of Fading Away

Hillary Clinton has no intention to leave politics anytime soon, she said. The former first lady and failed Democratic presidential candidate added that she doesn't intend to pursue another White House bid during an interview Monday.

"I will never be out of the game of politics," Clinton said on ABC News, adding, "I'm not going to be running for anything."

She added, "I really feel our democracy is at stake, and there's many reasons for that. Some of them we saw on the screen with the insurrection, some of them because of the revelations about Facebook that creates a world of disinformation instead of, you know, one where we can agree on what the facts are."

"I really am worried about what's happening at home and around the world," Clinton said. "So I'm never going to get out of, you know, being involved, worried, and hopefully trying to help in some way."

Clinton's book State of Terror is scheduled for release on Tuesday. The book will reportedly be a political thriller about a woman who is appointed to secretary of state, a president who is deemed a "political enemy," and terrorism threats.

"My first foray into fiction!" Clinton tweeted regarding her book. "It was a labor of love with my friend (and favorite mystery author) Louise Penny, and I can't wait for you to read it."

Speaking in "The View", Clinton talked about her thoughts of the $3.5 trillion legislation. "I think they will get a deal," Clinton said. "They have to get into the details-- so what would go into that bill that would fit into the amount of money that they're willing to spend-- and I actually think they'll get a deal. But it's going to be a roller coaster and it's not going to be pleasant."

Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., are at an impasse with the rest of the Democratic caucus when it comes to passing Biden's "Build Back Better Act," a spending plan set to fund a number of social programs.

"The bill has so much support for families who have gone through such a terrible time, and deserve to have support. And things that are way overdue, like paid family leave and support for quality child care-- things that other countries that like us have been doing for years and we are way behind in catching up," she said.

She also compared some members of the Republican Party to members of a cult regarding the party's approval of the "Big Lie" that the election was stolen. She said she believes the country is in the midst of a constitutional crisis.
