Meghan McCain, an Arizona native, criticized the state's primary election results on Wednesday, stressing the state has "gone full blown MAGA."

The daughter of the late John McCain, a veteran, former senator, and former Republican presidential nominee, Meghan McCain has stated her father's feud with former President Donald Trump.

Though the primary election results have not all been called, Trump-endorsed candidate for governor Kari Lake, who rejects the results of the 2020 presidential election, leads Karrin Taylor Robson, who was backed by former Vice President Mike Pence, by just a few percentage points.

"I see my initial predictions were right despite the initial excitement of Robson pulling ahead - Congratulations to my home state for full making the transition to full blown MAGA/conspiracy theory/fraudster. The voters have spoken - be careful what you wish for," McCain tweeted early Wednesday morning.

"Kari Lake will most likely win despite the fact that she was a lifelong progressive liberal, maxed out to Obama for her entire life. All she had to do was vomit up MAGA talking points and people bought it. She is a fraud, a conspiracy theorist, and not up to the character of Gov," she tweeted Tuesday evening during the primary.

Contentious incumbent lawmakers Rep. Paul Gosar and state Sen. Wendy Rogers, both of whom have been accused of embracing a white nationalist ideology, are expected to win their respective primaries against Republican challengers.

McCain's vacant spot on ABC's The View is set to be filled Thursday, and the show is expected to announce former White House Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farah Griffin as her replacement. Nevertheless, the frequent guest host is facing criticism from both sides, as conservatives have largely denounced her over her dramatic political transformation, and the left-leaning fan base is reluctant to accept her.
