According to reports, only 10 million people tuned in to the second hearing Monday morning.
Fox News, which didn't broadcast the initial hearing, got 1.5 million viewers on the Monday daytime hearing. MSNBC saw 1.3 million viewers tune in, while CNN boasted 653,000.
Last week’s heavily promoted first hearing, broadcast during prime-time hours on several major networks, received nearly 20 million viewers.

Asked about Dinesh D'Souza's documentary on election fraud, 2000 Mules, during the Monday hearing, former Attorney General William Barr chuckled and said, "I haven't seen anything since the election that changed my mind on that, including the 2000 Mules movie," he said. "The premise that, you know, if you go buy a box, five boxes or whatever it was, you know that that's a mule is just indefensible."

Monday's audience paled compared to other important political events like former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment trial in 2019, which brought about 13 million viewers. A similar number tuned in to watch former special counsel Robert Mueller testify in July 2019 about his probe into alleged links between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russian officials.

FIVE ARRESTED IN SOUTHERN TEXAS FOR TRAFFICKING OF MILITARY-GRADE WEAPONS TO CARTEL
The reason there isn't an independent commission -- like the one that investigated the 9/11 terrorist attacks -- is because Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell killed it after it had passed the House with 35 GOP votes. And away we go!
It's not clear what Trump thinks is illegal about the January 6 committee. It is a Select Committee established by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Not unlike the Benghazi Select Committee appointed by then-House Speaker John Boehner.
