Just to prove that having armed 'School Resource Officers' can make a difference despite Democrat's objections to having armed guards in school, in Alabama, an officer shot and killed a man suspected of trying to infiltrate a school Thursday.

Walnut Park School in Gadsden, Alabama, went into lockdown before 11 am, with a warning from the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office to avoid the area. No children were hurt, and all were bused to Gadsden City High School after the ordeal. Did CNN cover this? Did MSNBC? Did any Democrat mention it in relation to protecting kids in schools in the wake of the Uvalde shootings? No. And the simple reason is this incident proves the solution to school shootings is to bring guns into schools, something Democrats have been fighting using the argument that Guns are evil - not the people who wield them in evil ways.

There were 34 children on-site for a summer literacy camp at the time, according to Gadsden City School Superintendent Tony Reddick. 34 kids who could have been a statistic if not for Alabama's School Resource Officers who are there to prevent harm from coming to kids. Oddly, had the man succeeded in his quest to harm the kids, every Democrat from Chuck Schumer to AOC would have been front and center on CNN and MSNBC to condemn Republicans and the Second Amendment. However, since this incident proves that proper security can prevent disaster, the Democrats are staying as far away from it as possible.

There were reports of a suspicious man, later revealed to be 32-year-old Robert Tyler White of Bunnlevel, North Carolina, at the school trying to get into vehicles and buildings near the school. Reddick claimed White “aggressively” tried to open several doorways. When the principal subsequently called the school resource officer, who came with Etowah County deputies in tow, things aggravated. White then tried to take the resource officer’s gun and was fatally shot soon after, according to police. There were no details about who shot White, how many times he was shot, or whether or not he was armed.

“Agenda-driven political pundits will tell you that school resource officers don’t prevent violence in schools. This is not true, and it's never been true,” its caption read. “As a non-partisan training organization, we’ve seen time and time again how having carefully selected and specifically trained officers on school campuses can help avert violence before it happens, or in this case, confront and neutralize a threat before children or staff are harmed.”
