With a large mask over her face in hopes no one would recognize her, AOC diverted from her socialist act last week to bask in the luxury of a first-class seat on an American Airlines flight from Austin to JFK.
The Congresswoman was snapped aboard flight AA1405 on a Boeing 737-800 from Austin to John F. Kennedy International Airport last Sunday, the New York Post reported.
A fellow passenger took a photo of Ocasio- Cortez enjoying her comfortable front row wearing a large mask and a baseball cap. "I don't sense anyone in first-class knew she was there or someone of her celebrity was there," the tipster told the Post. "She was also pretty incognito."

Ocasio- Cortez would have coughed up between $400 to $600 for a one-way first-class American Airlines flight from Austin to New York City on Sunday, while economy flights would have cost her between $300 to $400, the Post reported.

Her first-class experience included 21-inch wide seats and an additional 7 inches of legroom as well as full dinner service. "They would have received the choice of a sandwich with salad, side, and dessert. Alcohol offerings are available complimentary," an airline rep told the Post.

According to a person who knew AOC earlier in her political career, the self-proclaimed socialist has grown a taste for the better things in life.
"This is definitely different," the person told the Post. "There has definitely been a shift in her desires to enjoy the finer things in life." "She lives above a Whole Foods and drives a Tesla, so she probably feels more at home upfront," one of AOC's fellow Democratic Congress members told the Post about her flying accommodations.
Ocasio-Cortez, who represents the 14th Congressional District, which traverses part of the Bronx and Queens, was traveling back to New York after visiting Texas to support congressional hopeful and former Austin City Council Member Greg Casar who is looking to represent Texas's 35th Congressional District.

Republicans harshly reacted to AOC's visit to Austin, saying she should come more often.
"We invite AOC to come to Texas as often as she can. Every time she comes to the Lone Star State, it's a gift because she reminds Texans of how much they despise socialism," a Republican National Committee spokesman said.
