Yes, GoFundMe allowed a campaign to be created and then after pressure from politicians, they decide to freeze the funds raised for a trucker convoy headed to protest Canada's vaccine mandate in Ottawa.
GoF**kMe as they should be called, has frozen over $4.7 million in donations raised for the "Freedom Convoy 2022" page, to which more than 60,000 donors have contributed. GoFundMe spokeswoman Rachel Hollis announced that the money will remain frozen until the company verifies how the funds will be distributed.
"This is part of our standard process to ensure the protection of donors," Hollis told the Washington Examiner. "Once a withdrawal plan is provided by the organizer, our team is on standby to safely and quickly deliver the funds."

Tamara Lich, who is also secretary of the fledgling Western separatist Maverick Party, launched the campaign on January 14. "Our current government is implementing rules and mandates that are destroying the foundation of our businesses, industries and livelihoods," the convoy's GoFundMe page states. "We are a peaceful country that has helped protect nations across the globe from tyrannical governments who oppressed their people, and now it seems it is happening here."

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters called on Canada and the United States to delay vaccination mandates on December 17, stressing in a statement the measure would "dramatically worsen current supply chain disruptions" in North America.
“Manufacturers are strong supporters of vaccinating all American and Canadian citizens, and that includes truckers. However, a vaccine mandate for truckers, at this time, will sideline one fifth of that workforce, make the trucking labor shortage go from bad to worse, and do severe damage to already struggling supply chains. CME urges the Canadian and US government to hit the pause button before it is too late,” said Dennis Darby, President and CEO of CME.

“Canadian manufacturing is already struggling with labor shortages and massive supply chain disruptions. Reducing North America’s cross-border trucking workforce by almost one fifth will do a lot of damage to our sector at a time when we can least afford it. We urge both governments to consider the impacts on our sector, the economy, and on consumers that not delaying this mandate will have,” concluded Darby.
