President Joe Biden made announcements Wednesday about the supply chain matters. Biden says the issues will be worked out so that Americans can mostly enjoy the holiday season.

"Now I can't promise that every person will get every gift they want on time - only Santa Claus can keep that promise," Biden announced, continuing that "there are items every year that sell out that are hard to find."

He stressed that "some of you moms and dads may remember Cabbage Patch Kids in the 80s or Beanie Babies in the 90s," when short supplies meant they were hard to come by.

"But we're heading into a holiday season in very strong shape," he stated, adding he thought store shelves would be stocked.

Biden then proceeded to suggest that Republicans cared more regarding elections than lowering costs for families, as they opposed his $1.75 trillion Build Back Better bill.

UPS and FedEx have stated that they are on track to deliver their most packages in history, Biden explained.

"Imagine rooting for a higher cost for American families just to score a few political points?" Biden asked.

Biden pointed to the highlights of the Build Back Better bill, which includes universal pre-K, capping childcare costs, an extension of the child tax credit, and other social infrastructure goodies.
