The Korabl Maket, better known in English as the Caspian Sea Monster, was an experimental aircraft created by the Central Hydrofoil Design Bureau during the 1960s. It made its maiden flight in October 1966 and was destroyed in 1980. However, before this happened, a photograph of the unique aircraft was taken and shared with the rest of the world.
