Clinton Eastwood Jr. came into this world on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. His father, also named Clinton Eastwood, had to move the family around frequently due to the economic hardship of the Great Depression. Eventually, after years of searching for work, they found a place to call home in Oakland, California. Eastwood and his sister, Jeanne, attended eight different schools before finally settling at Oakland Technical High School. Here, they could engage in extracurricular activities and establish long-lasting friendships in a more stable environment.
