US President's IQs Ranked From Highest To Lowest

John Adams: IQ 155

John Adams may have served as the second President of the United States, but he seldom played second to anyone. While he was the second President, he was the first to live in the Whitehouse. Adams wrote thousands of love letters to his wife, many now displayed in museums. He often complained to his wife about the insignificance of the Vice Presidential Office. He studied law at Harvard and coined the “Father of American Independence.” He had extensive diplomacy skills and helped to negotiate a peace treaty during the Revolutionary War, which avoided war with France. He also made some controversial decisions as President, such as giving in to pressure from Congress to sign laws known as the Alien and Sedition Acts, which allowed the government to arrest and imprison newspaper editors and writers who disagreed with the government’s policies.
