This information comes amidst claims from Russia that it has intercepted over 60 Ukrainian drones in the southern Krasnodar region.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported on Saturday that Russia had fired 34 missiles at Ukraine during the night, with Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepting 21 of these.
Herman Halushchenko, Ukraine's Minister of Energy, revealed via a Telegram post that energy facilities in the southern city of Dnipropetrovsk and the western cities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv had been attacked. He also reported that an engineer had sustained injuries during these attacks.

Private energy operator DTEK confirmed that four of its thermal power plants had been damaged and mentioned unspecified "casualties". Earlier this month, Russia had destroyed one of Ukraine's largest power plants and inflicted damage on others in a significant missile and drone attack, marking a renewed effort to undermine Ukraine's energy facilities.

In response to these attacks, Ukraine has sought additional air defense systems from its Western allies. During a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on Friday, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the U.S. would supply Ukraine with extra munitions and equipment for its air defense launchers.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv, a psychiatric hospital was damaged and one individual was injured following a missile attack by Russia. Photos from the scene depicted a large crater on the hospital grounds and patients seeking refuge in corridors. Regional governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that a 53-year-old woman had been injured.

In the same region, an overnight attack on the city of Vovchansk resulted in the death of a man, as reported by Ukraine's State Service for Emergency Situations.

On the Russian side, the Defense Ministry claimed that Russian air defense systems had intercepted 66 drones over the southern Krasnodar region, with two additional drones being shot down over the Crimean Peninsula, annexed by Moscow.
Veniamin Kondratyev, the governor of the Krasnodar region, stated that Ukrainian forces had targeted an oil refinery and infrastructure facilities, but there were no casualties or significant damage. The regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry reported a fire at the Slavyansk oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban during the attack.

While Ukrainian officials typically refrain from commenting on attacks on Russian soil, the Ukrainian Energy Ministry disclosed on Saturday that two oil refineries in the Krasnodar region had been hit by drones.
