In a recent interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, former President Donald Trump outlined his potential responses should he not secure a victory in the 2024 Presidential election.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Trump's comments followed a rally in Waukesha, where he primarily criticized President Biden's economic policies and the ongoing immigration issues at the southern border.

Trump indicated that his reaction to the election results would depend on their fairness. He expressed a willingness to accept a defeat if the election was conducted honestly. However, he also vowed to fight vigorously if he perceived the election to be unjust.

"If everything's honest, I'll gladly accept the results. I don't change on that," Trump stated in his interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "If it's not, you have to fight for the right of the country."

This declaration comes amidst ongoing legal challenges faced by Trump for questioning the legitimacy of the previous presidential election, a move seen by some as an exercise of his First Amendment rights.

As of now, Trump is reportedly leading President Biden in every swing state, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These reports are particularly noteworthy to readers of the Gateway Pundit.

In his interview, Trump also claimed victory in Wisconsin in the last election, despite official results indicating a narrow win for Biden. The official tally showed Biden with 1,630,866 votes to Trump's 1,610,184, a margin of 20,682 votes. However, Trump and others have questioned these results.

"If you go back and look at all of the things that had been found out, it showed that I won the election in Wisconsin," Trump asserted. "It also showed I won the election in other locations."

Given the current political climate, a Biden win in 2024 could raise suspicions among many Americans, particularly in light of concerns about election integrity laws in several states. If the results are close, Trump's decision to contest the election could be seen as justifiable.

The hope among some is that a strong voter turnout, driven by dissatisfaction with Biden's leadership, could make such a contest unnecessary.
