Rapper Snoop Dogg states he’s supplying his full-time personal blunt roller with more dough because of sky-high inflation.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist and avid weed smoker responded to a tweet from the account UberFacts last week that announced his employee rolls in between $40,000 and $50,000 yearly.

“Inflation. Their salary went up!!” he wrote. He later reposted a tweet that stated, “Employers: Take notes from @SnoogDog” in reference to the pay raise.

Throughout an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show with actor Seth Rogen in 2019, Snoop, 50, showed that he has a staffer whose sole job is to roll him blunts when he wants to light up.

“That’s his J-O-B, his occupation,” Snoop announced. “On his resume it says ‘what do you do’ ‘I’m a blunt roller.’ P-B-R, professional blunt roller.”

“If you’re great at something that I need, I’m hiring you,” the rapper went on, stressing he doesn’t have time to roll up his own weed.

The employee doesn’t simply roll the perfect blunt, he even knows when Snoop and his friends want to take another hit, the rapper stated, calling his roller’s timing “impeccable.”

“That motherf—er is like Lurch from ‘The Addams Family,’ ” announced Snoop. “‘You rang?’” “He knows how to gauge the look on someone’s face when it seems like they want a blunt and if they do, he gives you one,” Rogen went on.

In addition to his paycheck, Snoop stated that the staffer gets to smoke all the weed he wants for free and gets other perks from touring with the musical artist.

“Everything free I get, he gets,” Snoop Dogg stated. “So when I go get some free clothes, they give him some.” In 2015, it was reported that Waka Flocka Flame likewise hired a blunt roller and paid him $50,000.

The job listing at the time reportedly attracted more than 60,000 applicants. In the past, rapper Kid Cudi has also posted openings for a blunt roller, but it’s unclear whether he ended up hiring someone.

Well, then, if a blunt roller gets a raise, why won’t you? Fortunately, there's a way to work inflation into your raise request. The labor market is nonetheless hot, so many companies are concentrated on retention to keep employees from leaving.

If your employer doesn't automatically account for inflation, consult the Consumer Price Index to find the inflation rate from the past 12 months. Take that number in decimal form, add 1, and multiply that sum by your current salary to find out how much to ask for, states professional coach Brooke McCord of coaching company Ama La Vida.
