The group, self-identified as Rachel Corrie’s Ghost Brigade, posted on the Rose City Counter-Info website that they had infiltrated a police training facility and ignited 10 fires. They described this as a pre-emptive strike against the Portland Police Bureau, executed in anticipation of an operation to quell a pro-Palestinian demonstration at Portland State University’s Millar Library.
According to Oregonlive.com, the police have acknowledged the online post claiming responsibility, stating it is "part of the investigation."
