Following the release of the tax returns, the White House issued a statement, asserting that the Biden administration has revived "the bipartisan tradition of sharing presidential tax returns with the public."

The statement further noted that President Biden has now shared 26 years of tax returns with the nation, marking the most tax returns released by any commander-in-chief while in office. The White House emphasized President Biden's belief in the importance of transparency, honesty, and the continuation of the tradition of annually releasing presidential tax returns.
