As Twitter becomes a free speech platform, leftists and their tech giants try to ensure that it doesn’t happen anywhere else. According to Big Tech, the world is a better place with fact-checking. They’re willing to donate massive amounts of money to ensure that we live in a world of censorship.
The Daily Wire says, “Google and YouTube said they would provide financial support to the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), an arm of the Poynter Institute, to support fact-checking initiatives through 2025.”

The Daily Wire continues, “‘The world needs fact-checking more than ever. This partnership with Google and YouTube infuses financial support to global fact-checkers and is a step in the right direction,’ said Baybars Örsek, the IFCN’s executive director. ‘And while there’s much work to be done, this partnership has sparked meaningful collaboration and an important step.’”

The money goes from IFCN to minor fact-checking groups worldwide, including groups in the United States. It’s interesting to see who’s on the board for this fact-checking organization. According to The Daily Wire, “The IFCN was established in 2015, and its advisory board includes individuals from various organizations, including PolitiFact and The Washington Post.”

Unsurprisingly, leftist media outlets want to ensure that people combat misinformation worldwide.
However, according to tech giants like Google, there’s a different reason for that. The Post Millennial states, “According to data from Google, in October 2022, interest in mis- and disinformation across the world reached its highest point since 2004, when records began, with the most pressing topic being the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Misinformation and fact checkers were working around the clock during the pandemic to keep up with information. However, we also know that anything that doesn’t follow a leftist narrative is misinformation. Instead of censoring America, they are trying to censor the world. We all deserve free speech.
