Illinois gubernatorial contender Gary Rabine summoned the devil in his recent pitch to voters, blaming the Democrats for pursuing Lucifer’s most sought-after policy goals.

An offensive ad from the Republican emphasizes Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker’s policies on education, abortion, transgenderism, and more, insinuating the governor was doing the devil’s bidding.

“If I were the devil, I’d teach children what to think, not how to think. I’d remove God in the Pledge from our public school. Our children would have less appreciation for faith and country. If I’m the devil, I’d teach children graphic sex education,” Rabine announced in the ad.

“Biological boys compete in girls’ sports to diminish long-term competitive opportunities for girls. Lastly, if I were the devil, I’d remove the requirements to notify a parent of a daughter as young as 13 considering an abortion. This would allow human traffickers a better business model in Illinois,” he went on. “In other words, if JB Pritzker were the devil, so keep right on doing exactly what he’s doing.”

A former businessman, Rabine is competing for the Republican nod to challenge Pritzker for governor in the fall. When pressed whether he thinks his Democratic rivals are evil, he declared that their policies were “wrong.”

“I believe in God. If most people believe in God, believe in the devil, they believe there’s an opposite to good and bad and that this is the bad side of our faith,” he explained to the Washington Examiner. “Whether you call it evil or wrong, it’s wrong. And so, for me, every aspect of what we’re doing, we’re separating or dividing, and we’re weakening society with what we’re doing to our kids, and it’s got to stop.”

Rabine is meeting a fast-approaching primary on June 28. Polling indicates that most voters are doubtful of the Republican primary, Pantagraph reported. The top contenders in the race are Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin and state Sen. Darren Bailey, according to a survey from WGN-TV, the Hill, and Emerson College. Rabine announced he is running for governor to turn the state around.

“I got grandkids growing up in the state right now. And these things are teaching our kids and our schools, and the stuff they’re doing to our kids is, in my opinion, very evil. And if we don’t speak up against it, it’s going to be completed. This agenda is going to be completed in Illinois and across our country,” he stated.
