Fox News host Harris Faulkner expressed Vice President Kamala Harris's lack of knowledge and preparation for interviews as an embarrassment.

While speaking on a Fox News Outnumbered panel last Thursday, Faulkner revealed that she very much dislikes having to clarify her name against the Vice President’s.

“I want my name back,” Faulkner demanded. "Every time people say 'Harris,' I have to definitively say, 'No, it’s Kamala.' I’m not joking about that. She was an attorney general, and she’s not prepared for basic questions."

Faulkner knocked the Vice President for not knowing the number of COVID-19 tests being sent out during a recent Today interview with Craig Melvin.

“She’s not prepared,” Faulkner asserted. “She is the defendant that she always hoped she’d get, where the questions would just leave that person befuddled. I don’t get it.” The Fox News host questioned if Vice President Harris’s lack of preparation might be intentional. “Is this behavior on purpose?” Faulkner asked. “Is it feigned, or is it sincere ignorance on such a great point? I don’t relish saying that. She is the vice president of the United States. She wasn’t ready. When will she be ready?”

Outnumbered co-host Emily Compagno added to Faulkner’s point that the Vice President’s hostile responses and refusal to answer questions in interviews do not help her cause.

“It seems like every question that she gets in any interview, her automatic knee-jerk response is petulant defensiveness when this is supposed to be our vice president,” suggested Compagno. “Where is that relatability?

Vice President Harris's staff reportedly said she is a "bully" who does not look at briefing materials. The White House denied the report and attributed an exodus of the Vice President’s staffers to normal staffing turnover.

Like President Joe Biden, Harris has a negative approval rating – she was at 40 percent approval and 53 percent disapproval in the latest LA Times poll. After a series of staff departures and the arrival of Jamal Symons as her new communications director, some moves are already taking shape. Harris had a prominent place at President Biden's side for two recent major speeches. The flew with him to Atlanta for his speech on voting rights – taking separate planes, as is normal for security reasons.

Harris is 'mulling' a higher media presence, the Washington Post reported. The former senator, who did not complete her single term after Biden selected her, is also planning an active campaign schedule.
