Climate activist Greta Thunberg is in dire need of mouthwash following her censuring remarks aimed at the world leaders in the United Nations climate summit.

Since the arrival of world leaders in Glasgow, Scotland, for the COP26 climate conference, there has been an explosion of protests throughout the country showing concerns over climate change. Thunberg was not set to speak at the summit. Instead, she attended a demonstration to speak her mind about the meeting. The 18-year-old activist joined a group of activists at the youth-led Fridays for Future meeting of environmental activists.

Thunberg sang in a song with other protesters that world leaders can "(you) shove your climate crisis up your arse!"

"This COP26 is so far just like the previous COPs, and that has led us nowhere. They have led us nowhere," Greta told the crowd. "Inside COP, there are just politicians and people in power pretending to take our future seriously, pretending to take the present seriously of the people who are being affected already today by the climate crisis."

"Change is not going to come from inside there," she added. "That is not leadership — this is leadership," referring to the outside protesters. The 18-year-old then led the crowd in chants of "Climate Justice" and "No more blah, blah, blah."

"We're sick and tired of it, and we're going to make the change whether they like it or not," she added.

Thunberg made news in 2019 when she spoke before COP25, telling world leaders, "You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words ... You are failing us."
