Guess who called Meghan McCain an ‘entitles b*tch’ and threatened to leave The View? Featured

Joy Behar threatened to quit ABC's "The View" Monday after a testy exchange with co-host Meghan McCain, saying she would leave the show if the "entitled bitch" was not pulled back into line, according to a report.

Behar, a 20-year veteran of the daytime talk program, allegedly launched into the expletive-laden rant after she and McCain clashed during a segment about former President George H.W. Bush's life that turned into a critique of President Trump's environmental policies.

"My God!" Behar said during the commercial break following the confrontation, according to the Daily Mail. "Get this bitch under control."

"If this shit doesn't stop, I'm quitting this damn show. I can't take this much more," Behar said, the outlet reported.

"I've tolerated a lot of shit on this show but I'm at my wits' end with this entitled bitch. Enough already! Enough already! I'm not playing nice any longer."

McCain, an outspoken conservative voice on the program, has frequently gotten into fiery on-air exchanges with her colleagues since joining the cast last year.

Monday's disagreement was sparked after McCain insisted that she did not want to discuss Trump as Behar was complaining about how the current president was working to "unravel" some of the environmental protections introduced by Bush when in 1990 he signed amendments to the Clean Air Act into law.

"I'm not interested in what you're interested in, I'm talking," Behar said before co-host Whoopi Goldberg cut to a commercial break.

But a source close to the show pushed back on the Daily Mail's report, particularly Behar's alleged use of expletives.

"Sometimes the conversations get more passionate and heated than others, but when they get up from behind the table they talk it out," the source said. "They are friends and they are friendly behind the scenes. That's the case with Meghan and Joy, and all the women. They are pros. They have a good working relationship."
