Aliyah Rahman, an American citizen who describes herself as autistic, appeared before a congressional panel on Tuesday and claimed she was driving to an appointment at Hennepin County’s Traumatic Brain Injury Center when she encountered ICE agents allegedly blocking the road with no way around them. According to Gateway Pundit, Rahman testified that an ICE agent screamed at her, “Move, I will break your f***ing window!” before she was supposedly forced to pull into a blocked intersection.
Rahman further asserted that she received conflicting threats from the agents, leaving her confused, and that officers then smashed her window and dragged her from the vehicle. When she informed them she was disabled, one agent allegedly responded, “Too late.”

She went on to describe her alleged physical pain as officers removed her from the car and claimed, without offering corroborating evidence, that she was denied access to medical care. Her testimony was quickly amplified by sympathetic media outlets and progressive activists eager to portray ICE as abusive and out of control.

On Friday, however, ICE released additional footage on its official X account that appears to contradict Rahman’s narrative and significantly weakens her claims. The video shows that Rahman had space to maneuver her vehicle away from the scene but chose instead to remain in place, effectively obstructing the agents’ operation.

“Unfortunately for the media, we have the receipts. As shown in our video, Aliya Rahman clearly had enough room to move herself and her vehicle out of the way,” the ICE post stated, directly challenging the activist’s sworn testimony. “Officers even walked away from her vehicle, thinking she was going to leave the scene,” the post continues. “Instead, she remained at the location, continued to impede our officers, and found out the hard way.”

ICE then pointedly cited federal law, noting, “18 U.S.C. § 111 criminalizes impeding or interfering with federal officers.” For an activist who attempted to weaponize emotional testimony against law enforcement, the statute is a stark reminder that feelings do not override the rule of law.

Based on the video, Rahman’s testimony appears to be at serious odds with the documented facts, raising the question of whether she committed perjury before Congress. Yet in an era when left-wing activists and their media allies are rarely held to account, especially while President Trump’s supporters face aggressive prosecutions, many conservatives are asking whether this will be treated as “Pretty damning evidence” or simply ignored because the narrative serves progressive politics.
