The message was signed by City Attorney Kristyn Anderson, who included “(She/Her)” pronouns in her official government signature block, a detail that underscores the ideological signaling now common in progressive bureaucracies.

Grage wrote: “Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office emailed staff inviting them to a ‘healing circle’ with ‘therapy goats.’ While Democrats fan the flames against ICE agents. City staff are being offered quiet reflection time with goats. This is not parody. This is Minneapolis.” His post captured the disconnect between a city struggling with public safety and a political class more interested in therapeutic gestures than concrete solutions.

The internal email, addressed to “CAO friends,” stated: “Human Resources will be facilitating a healing circle from 12:00–1:00 PM in PSB100AB for any City employees who would like to be in shared space with colleagues. This is intended as a quiet, supportive environment for connection and presence.” It continued: “As a reminder, therapy goats will also be in PSB100 beginning at noon, and folks are welcome to stop by at any point. Participation is entirely optional. There is no expectation to speak or actively participate—attendees are welcome to simply sit, listen, and be in community with one another.”

All of this unfolds as Minneapolis officials and allied activists continue to attack ICE for enforcing federal immigration law against dangerous offenders, choosing ideological posturing over cooperation with those charged with protecting the public. Minneapolis does not need “quiet reflection time with goats”; it needs leaders willing to back law enforcement, secure communities, and reject the failed progressive experiments that have left the city less safe and more divided.
