The woman is accused of issuing threats to assassinate President Donald Trump.
According to RedState, Pirro discussed the arrest of Nathalie Rose Jones, a 50-year-old resident of Lafayette, Indiana, in a video posted on Monday. Jones was apprehended in D.C. on Saturday, August 16, after allegedly making a series of threats against the President on social media. The threats were severe enough to warrant her travel from New York to D.C., where she was subsequently taken into custody.

In her video, Pirro emphasized the gravity of threatening the President's life, stating that such an act would be met with "swift and unwavering prosecution." She said, "Threatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution. Make no mistake—justice will be served."
Jones now faces charges for "knowingly and willfully threatening to take the life of the President of the United States."
Pirro also expressed gratitude towards the law enforcement agencies involved in the case, particularly the Secret Service Special Agents from New York and Washington, D.C. She commended their "tireless commitment to protecting our leaders and our nation," and assured that Jones would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Further details about the charges against Jones were provided in a press release from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The release stated that Jones was charged with threatening to take the life of, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon the President, and transmitting in interstate commerce communications containing threats to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.

The DOJ release also highlighted several disturbing communications allegedly involving Jones. It revealed that during a voluntary interview with the U.S. Secret Service, Jones referred to the President as a "terrorist" and a "nazi."
She also expressed a desire to take the President's life and claimed to possess a "bladed object," which she intended to use to "carry out her mission of killing" the President. Jones attributed her motivation to "avenge all the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic," which she blamed on President Trump's administration and its stance on vaccinations.
The release further detailed that on August 16, Jones participated in a protest demonstration that circled the White House complex. Following the march, she was interviewed by the U.S. Secret Service for a second time.
During this interview, she admitted to making threats towards President Trump but denied any current intention to harm him. She was subsequently arrested and confirmed ownership of the Facebook account "Nath Jones," where she had posted the threatening statements.

In a separate post, Pirro discussed the recent surge in law enforcement in D.C. following President Trump's decision to federalize D.C. law enforcement. She reported that this move has resulted in over "400 arrests" since August 11, including "127" arrests over the weekend. The arrests involved individuals charged with homicide, sex crimes, illegal immigration, and drug trafficking. Pirro also mentioned the seizure of nearly two dozen "illegal guns."
Pirro's stern warning to criminals was clear: "If you want to be in D.C. and you are a criminal, you are not welcome." This firm stance comes in the wake of several assassination attempts on President Trump in 2024, including a tragic incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, that resulted in the death of firefighter Corey Comperatore.
