Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, recently addressed the World Forum on the Future of Democracy, Tech, and Humankind, launching a scathing critique of the Trump administration's governance.

Speaking in Germany, Clinton painted a grim picture of America's political landscape under Trump, likening it to an autocracy.

"There’s no way to sugarcoat it. There’s no way to explain it away," Clinton declared in the opening moments of her speech. "Autocracy is on the March, and we now have a government in the United States that has thrown in its lot with the autocrats."

According to RedState, Clinton continued her critique, suggesting that the Trump administration had chosen to align itself with warmongers and those who manipulate information flow. She accused the government of empowering individuals who pledge allegiance to algorithms that breed addiction, hatred, and fear.

Clinton, a two-time presidential candidate, then shifted her focus to the control of information, a theme she identified as central to her speech. "Information determines how we think, and how we think determines what we say, and what we say determines what we do," she argued, highlighting the role of technology and Artificial Intelligence as pivotal issues in today's world.

She further criticized the Trump administration for its handling of facts, particularly in relation to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "Where there are no facts, there cannot be truth, and where there is no truth, there cannot be trust, and where there is no trust, there cannot be democracy and peace," she stated.

However, Clinton's credibility has been questioned in the past, with critics pointing to her involvement in controversies such as the "vast right-wing conspiracy," Russia collusion, and Bosnian snipers.

In her concluding remarks, Clinton warned the forum attendees about the potential dangers of technology and Artificial Intelligence, suggesting they could become tools for autocrats if not properly managed.

Bill Clinton, former President and Clinton's husband, echoed his wife's sentiments, continuing the narrative of America under autocratic rule. He went a step further, criticizing voters who supported Trump out of concern for their economic stability.

"And now we're fighting this rise in autocracy, where everybody says, 'Oh, I'm so tired, I don't want to think about this anymore,'" he said. "'Oh, I know it's unfortunate what's happening in Russia, but what can I do about it?'"

He continued, "'And I really like this macho person who talks tough, acts tough, and relieves me of any of the burdens of thinking about all this stuff. I mean, I have a job to do every day, I got bills to pay, I've got costs to worry about. What do I care? What do I know?'"

The Clintons' remarks have been interpreted by some as a reflection of their disdain for America and its citizens. Critics argue that their comments suggest a condescending view of Americans, implying they are incapable of critical thinking and are easily swayed by strongman politics.

This is not the first time the Clintons have been accused of such sentiments. Hillary Clinton previously compared Trump supporters at a Madison Square Garden rally to attendees of a Nazi rally in 1939.

The Clintons' recent comments have reignited debates about their views on America and its citizens. Critics argue that their remarks reveal a deep-seated animosity towards the country and its people, while supporters maintain that they are simply voicing concerns about the state of democracy under the Trump administration.
