In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan leveled accusations against Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign, alleging that they fabricated reasons to avoid an interview with him due to fear.

Rogan, who had previously conducted an interview with President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election, expressed his openness about the breakdown in discussions with Harris's team. He revealed that his intention was to release interviews with both Trump and Harris simultaneously, but disagreements over scheduling and interview duration led to a collapse in negotiations.

As reported by Mediaite, an upcoming book references Harris officials who suggest that Rogan deliberately undermined the Harris interview in favor of Trump, a claim Rogan has staunchly refuted. In his podcast, Rogan reiterated his denial, asserting that the Harris campaign "got scared" and is now resorting to falsehoods to "cover their ass."

He remarked, "It’s just normal political bullshit. They just lie. They cover their ass, and they lie. I would have been very happy to have her on, and like I said, the goal was to release both the same day."

Rogan further elaborated on his willingness to accommodate the Harris campaign, stating he would have been "nice" and even metaphorically held the vice president's "hand" during the conversation. He mentioned that he had previously agreed to avoid certain topics, such as marijuana legalization, which is frequently discussed on his show. "They just got scared. They could have put her in. I would have held her hand. We would have had a conversation. Not that I need to hold, you-know, the vice president’s hand," Rogan explained.

In a light-hearted exchange with his guest Adam Curry, Rogan dismissed the notion of voting for Harris, laughingly asserting, "No, I wouldn’t have done that. I wasn’t going to vote for her."
