Ana Navarro, a co-host on "The View," has joined the chorus of voices urging Americans to protest against the policies of President Donald Trump.

During Thursday's episode, Navarro passionately called for citizens to take to the streets, expressing her frustration with the current administration.

"What is going on is outrageous. What I want to know is when are we in America going to hit the streets?" she questioned, receiving applause from the audience. "When are we in America going to say stand up and say enough is enough?"

According to Fox News, Navarro further elaborated on her concerns by introducing the term "kakistocracy," which she defined as "a government run by the worst, least qualified or most unscrupulous citizens." She lamented, "It is exactly what we are living through right now to your point. It’s only been two and a half weeks. God help us, we have to go through four years of this." Navarro emphasized the necessity of establishing "guardrails" by advocating for a Democratic majority in the House or Senate, asserting that it is "the only way that there will be any guardrails against what Donald Trump and Elon Musk is doing."

This sentiment was echoed earlier in the week by Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who urged Democrats to mobilize against Trump's policies. Jeffries criticized the "extreme MAGA Republican agenda" for attempting to "cut taxes for billionaires, donors, and wealthy corporations" while burdening "New Yorkers and working class Americans across the country." He declared, "That's not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. We're going to fight it in the streets."

Navarro also reminded viewers of her previous warnings from December, which had sparked some disagreement among her co-hosts regarding Trump's plans. She recounted, "You remember me saying in December people who work for the federal government had to prepare. That’s USAID, that’s 10,000 people. Yesterday, 5,000 FBI agents were put into some sort of investigation at DOJ for doing their job."

In a related development, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., addressed an anti-Elon Musk rally, cautioning Republican colleagues to "pay attention" and warning, "if you do not see the light, we will bring the fire. Resist." Meanwhile, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., as reported by Politico, urged Democrats to "blow this place up," advocating for any measures necessary to delay cabinet confirmations.

In response to the administration's actions, Democrats staged an all-night protest on Wednesday, opposing efforts by Musk and Trump within the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Additionally, Democratic senators postponed a confirmation vote for Russell Vought as Director of the Office of Management and Budget, signaling their continued resistance to the administration's agenda. As the political landscape remains contentious, the call for protest and legislative action underscores the deep divisions and ongoing struggle for influence in Washington.
