The city's policies, which limit cooperation between local law enforcement and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), have resulted in a surge of crime committed by illegal immigrants.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, law enforcement sources revealed to The New York Post that an estimated 75% of individuals apprehended in Midtown Manhattan for crimes such as assault, robbery, and domestic violence in recent months are immigrants. These figures underscore the detrimental impact of sanctuary city laws, which prevent police from collaborating with ICE in cases involving suspects believed to be in the country illegally.

She further criticized the Democrats for providing these criminals with housing, food, and healthcare, funded by New Yorkers' hard-earned tax dollars, instead of cooperating with ICE to deport them.
