However, it appears that even if these caravans reach the border, Mexico will take measures to prevent them from crossing. In response to Trump's tariff threat, Sheinbaum outlined a plan to stop "caravans of migrants" from reaching the US. She also highlighted that many of those traveling to the US had appointments, arranged by the Biden-Harris administration, to surrender to authorities and be released into the US.
