The assailant, a 51-year-old resident of the Bellevue Men’s Shelter, began his violent rampage on Monday morning, according to The Post Millennial.
The first victim, a 30-year-old construction worker, was lured by the attacker near Eighth Avenue on West 19th Street around 8:20 am. "As he approached, the killer put a knife in his stomach," the police reported. Despite being rushed to Bellevue Hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
The assailant, undeterred, continued his spree about two hours later on East 30th St. near FDR Dr. Here, he brutally stabbed a man in his 60s multiple times. Witnesses reported that the victim was taken to the hospital but unfortunately, he too, did not survive his injuries.

The final attack occurred just before 11 am, where a woman became the third victim at East 42nd Street and First Avenue. She was stabbed multiple times and was immediately taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she is currently fighting for her life in critical condition.
