Joe Rogan, renowned podcast host, recently revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris' team had proposed topic "restrictions" and questioned the possibility of editing during her potential appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience.

".

Rogan's disclosure came amidst discussions about the Vice President's campaign's efforts to bolster her appeal among male voters by considering an appearance on his popular podcast.

According to the Daily Caller, Rogan, during his podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience," stated that he had agreed to the "restrictions" put forth by the Harris campaign. However, he adamantly clarified that there would be no editing of the interview. "There was a few restrictions of things they didn’t want to talk about, but I said, ‘I don’t give a fuck.’ I go, ‘Get her in here, like whatever you want to talk about.’ And they want to know if I edit," Rogan said. "I’m like, ‘There’s not going to be any editing, there’s no editing. We’re not going to edit.'"

Theo Von, another podcast host, echoed Rogan's sentiments, confirming that similar inquiries were made to him. "Yeah, that’s the same thing they asked us. ‘Is there an edit?'” Von responded.

Rogan later shared that the Harris campaign had expressed a desire for him to "travel to her" for the interview. However, Rogan firmly believed that it would be more beneficial for the Vice President to make an appearance in his Austin, Texas studio. He also extended an "open invitation" to the Harris campaign during her visit to Texas for a rally on Oct. 25. Despite this, the Vice President did not seize the opportunity.

"She had an opportunity to come … You could look at this and you could say, ‘Oh, you’re being a diva,’ but she had an opportunity to come here when she was in Texas. And I literally gave them an open invitation," he asserted. "I said, ‘Anytime.’ I said, ‘If she’s done at 10:00, we’ll come back here at 10:00.’ I go, ‘I’ll do it at 9:00 in the morning, I’ll do it at 10:00 p.m., I’ll do it at midnight if she’s up, she wants to, you know, drink a Red Bull and fuckin’ party on.’”

Interestingly, President-elect Donald Trump had previously appeared on Rogan’s podcast on Oct. 25, recording a three-hour episode that has since garnered over 47 million views on YouTube.

Rogan's approach to his interviews is to engage in open, unrestricted dialogue. "I just wanted to talk … I feel like you give someone a couple of hours and you start talking about anything, I’m [going to] see the pattern of the way you think,” Rogan said. “I’m gonna see the way you process ideas. I’m gonna see whether or not you’re calculated or whether you’re just free. Or are you comfortable with you or are you projecting things?”

The Harris campaign has yet to respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. This incident underscores the importance of open dialogue and transparency in public discourse, particularly in a political context.
