Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest individual, has reportedly invested $35 million in an expansive Texas estate intended to serve as a communal living space for his various ex-partners and eleven children.

The tech mogul's vision is for his youngest offspring to grow up in close proximity, fostering familial bonds.

According to the Daily Mail, four insiders revealed to the New York Times that Musk purchased the 14,000-square-foot mansion with the intention of creating 'adjoining properties.' This arrangement would facilitate 'scheduled time' for his youngest children, fostering a sense of unity among them.

While it remains uncertain whether all of Musk's former partners have agreed to this arrangement, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk's brain tech startup Neuralink, has reportedly already relocated to one of the mansions within the Austin compound. Zilis and Musk share three children: twins Strider and Azure, born two years ago, and a third child born earlier this year.

Musk, who has built his $270 billion fortune primarily through renewable energy ventures, frequently warns that depopulation poses one of the 'biggest threats' to the world. His rocket company SpaceX recently made headlines for successfully catching its Starship rocket with giant mechanical arms, while his electric car company Tesla has risen to become the world's most valuable car company.

Despite recently moving to Pennsylvania with the aim of aiding Donald Trump's bid to reclaim the White House, Musk reportedly resides in a mansion a mere 10-minute walk from his planned family compound when in Texas.

The $35 million Austin estate, reportedly designed in the style of Tuscan villas, comprises a main house and at least one six-bedroom mansion. Musk's vision was for the mothers of his three children to move into the enclave along with his eleven children. However, his tumultuous family life suggests that some relatives may be reluctant to join.

Among these is Musk's transgender daughter Vivian Wilson, 20, who publicly severed ties with her father following a public disagreement. Musk later claimed that his 'son' had been 'killed by the woke mind virus' when expressing his support for Donald Trump.

While Zilis has already relocated to one of the homes with her children, Musk's other ex-partners have yet to follow suit. Claire Boucher, the musician known as Grimes, is currently embroiled in a contentious custody battle with Musk, which could potentially delay her relocation to Texas.

The former couple made headlines four years ago with the birth of their son, whom they named X AE A-XII. They have since had a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, and a 2-year-old son, Tau Techno Mechanicus.

The birth of Musk's most recent children in 2022 also sparked a family dispute when Zilis, a Neuralink executive, became pregnant with twins. It was later revealed that Musk had donated sperm to Zilis via IVF, the same method he used to conceive his children with first wife Justine Musk. Zilis and Grimes were pregnant simultaneously, with Grimes reportedly discovering that Musk was the father of Zilis's children a month after their birth.

Musk also shares adult children with his first wife, Justine Musk, including Vivian, Vivian's twin Griffin, both 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, all 18. The couple tragically lost a baby at just 10 weeks old in 2002.

While Musk's focus may be on the future and his new generation of offspring for his Austin compound, sources told the Times that 'there is room' for his adult children should they wish to visit. This gesture suggests that despite the complexities of his family life, Musk is committed to fostering a sense of unity among his children.
