The event, held outside Philadelphia, was attended by an audience of voters who were either undecided or persuadable.

According to Mediaite, the Vice President did not shy away from expressing her views on Trump, labeling him a "fascist." This remark came in the wake of several of Trump's former top aides using the same term to describe him, and amidst reports that he had praised Hitler and expressed a desire for his generals to emulate Hitler's. Trump was also reported to have said that Hitler did "some good things."

The issue of anti-Semitism was brought up by a voter named Beth Samberg, who asked Harris how she plans to address this growing concern. Harris, in her response, referenced the Trump-Hitler reports. Cooper, seizing the moment, asked Harris directly if she believed Trump to be anti-Semitic.

Cooper introduced Samberg to the Vice President, describing her as a realtor and mother of four from Bellwood, Pennsylvania. Samberg, a registered Democrat, expressed her concerns about anti-Semitism, saying, "The rise of anti-Semitism and violence from anti-Semitism has risen greatly on college campuses and on our city streets in the last year. How would you combat this growing trend and protect our young adults?"

Harris responded, "Thank you, Beth. You are right. And I will say that we have seen a rise in anti-Semitism. It is something that we have to be honest about and we have to deal with." She went on to discuss her work as attorney general, during which she published a hate crimes report that identified anti-Semitism as one of the most prevalent forms of hate in the country.

Harris emphasized the need for education and understanding, as well as the implementation of laws to deter hate crimes. She also stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of college students. However, she pointed out that the alleged comments made by Trump did not contribute positively to these efforts.

"But I’m going to tell you what doesn’t help," Harris said. "Again, I invite you to listen and go online to listen to John Kelly, the former chief of staff of Donald Trump, who has told us Donald Trump said, why — essentially, 'Why aren’t my generals like those of Hitler’s, like Hitler,' who has referred, several times — we’ve heard the reports for years."

Cooper then asked, "Do you believe Donald Trump is Antisemitic?" To which Harris responded, "I believe Donald Trump is a danger to the well-being and security of America."
