As reported by The Post Millennial, the administration has so far allocated over $59 billion in military aid since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in February 2022. The White House statement revealed, “President Zelensky updated President Biden on his plan to achieve victory over Russia, and the two leaders tasked their teams to engage in further consultations on next steps.” It further stated that the leaders are committed to intensifying security assistance planning with international partners to ensure Ukraine is adequately equipped.
The Biden-Harris administration's commitment to Ukraine's stability amidst the ongoing war is evident. The US Agency for International Development (USAID) recently released a video detailing its plans to maintain power supply in Ukraine, even as it grapples with power issues domestically in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

The White House's summary of the Biden-Zelensky call also indicated that the US will equip Ukraine with a variety of additional capabilities in the forthcoming months. These include hundreds of air defense interceptors, dozens of tactical air defense systems, additional artillery systems, substantial quantities of ammunition, hundreds of armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, and thousands of additional armored vehicles to bolster Ukraine’s armed forces.

Zelensky also informed the Ukrainian parliament about his “Victory Plan” that he had previously shared with Biden and former President Donald Trump during his recent US visit, as noted by the Washington Examiner. His plan includes NATO membership, a proposition NATO is currently unwilling to consider and one that Russia has categorically stated it will not tolerate. Zelensky is also advocating for “a comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package.”

He optimistically stated, “If we start implementing this Victory Plan now, we may be able to end the war no later than next year.” The Ukrainians are also pressing the US to allow them to directly target Russian assets within the country using US missiles, a request Biden has so far declined, citing the potential for dangerous escalation of the war.
