Esteemed actor Scott Baio recently made an appearance on the Jesse Watters show, where he expressed his skepticism about the left's sudden enthusiasm for Kamala Harris's candidacy.

Baio pointed out that not long ago, many on the left were advocating for Harris's removal from the Democratic ticket. His comments came in the wake of a 'Comics for Kamala' Zoom call, which he described as "weird, disjointed, awkward, dumb, not funny."

According to Gateway Pundit, the conversation between Watters and Baio began with a discussion about the aforementioned Zoom call. The transcript of their conversation, provided by Real Clear Politics, reveals Baio's candid thoughts on the matter.

Fox News host Jesse Watters asked Baio, "What kind of punishments will you be administering to these Hollywood Kamala lovers as the overlord of the gulag?" To which Baio responded, "If I was the overlord of these people, I would sit them all down and teach them that America is a representative republic."

Baio went on to express his belief that America has been a MAGA country since its inception, and for him, MAGA represents a nation that is God-fearing, powerful, prosperous, and safe. He lamented that the country is currently lacking in these qualities.

Regarding the 'Comics for Kamala' Zoom call, Baio stated, "And I watched some of that thing last night. And I got to tell you, man, it was just weird, weird, disjointed, awkward, dumb, not funny. And the whole thing is fake excitement, in my opinion. The whole thing is fake."

Watters then pointed out that none of these people were going to participate in Zoom calls for Biden, but with Harris's arrival, they are now eagerly competing to join Zoom calls and perform. Baio responded, "Jesse, these people two minutes ago wanted her kicked off the ticket. They didn’t want her to run with Biden. But she was the insurance policy to keep Biden running for president. And now, all of a sudden, she is the all-knowing, all-wonderful Kamala Harris."

Baio expressed his doubt about the public's excitement for Harris, stating, "I’m telling you, I think you said it on your show. It’s on the news is excited about it. I don’t think people are excited about her. There’s nothing. She might be a nice lady. There’s nothing to her."

He concluded his thoughts by expressing his disappointment in how the left has seemingly sidelined Biden in favor of Harris, calling it "insulting."

Baio's comments underscore a broader sentiment among conservatives, who view Harris as an empty vessel, pandering to whichever audience she is addressing at the moment. His observations serve as a reminder of the importance of scrutinizing political figures beyond their public personas and media portrayals.
