This rally, which took place nearly three weeks ago, was the scene of a near-fatal assassination attempt on the President, who was shot in the ear.
According to Gateway Pundit, the Secret Service and the FBI have been less than forthcoming about the events of that day. Questions remain unanswered about how a young would-be assassin was able to fire eight shots at President Trump before being neutralized. The security personnel present at the rally had identified the assailant, known as Crooks, acting suspiciously 90 minutes before the shooting began. Furthermore, Crooks was seen running along the roof of the building just minutes before he opened fire, killing one and injuring three.

Rowe has previously stated that all necessary security measures were in place for the Trump rally. However, a whistleblower has come forward to contradict this claim, alleging that it was Rowe himself who reduced the security detail for President Trump. This information was brought to light by Senator Josh Hawley, who has been vocal about Rowe's role in the security cuts.

During a recent broadcast, Jesse Watters challenged Director Rowe's assertions. "The acting director of the Secret Service told Congress, under oath, that his agency didn’t cut resources from Trump’s detail," Watters said. In response, Director Rowe stated, "If you’re talking about Butler, Pennsylvania, all assets requested were approved. If you’re talking about the media reporting of assets requested, there were times when assets were unavailable and not able to be filled, and those gaps were staffed with state and local law enforcement tactical assets."

Watters, however, was not convinced by Rowe's explanation. "That’s a lie, period. Lying to Congress is a felony," he retorted. He went on to cite the whistleblower's claim that Rowe had personally ordered the reduction of Secret Service agents responsible for threat assessments at events. These agents, according to the whistleblower, should have been present at Trump's Butler rally, and their absence was a direct result of Rowe's decision.

The whistleblower also alleged that these threat assessment agents had been raising concerns about security issues for months leading up to the Butler rally, but their warnings were ignored. Watters questioned why this was the case, suggesting that if these agents had been present at the rally, Crooks would have been apprehended as soon as he was spotted with the Range Finder.

The controversy doesn't end there. Watters also claimed that not only were these special agents absent from Trump's Butler rally, but the Secret Service has yet to contact the local law enforcement officers who provided backup on that day.
