The late Boeing whistleblower, John Barnett, who reportedly took his own life, is said to have left a suicide note expressing his deep-seated frustrations with the company.

The note, as reported by the New York Post, contained statements such as "I can’t do this any longer! Enough!" and "F*ck Boeing."

Barnett, who served Boeing for over 30 years before retiring as a quality control engineer in 2017, allegedly penned his final thoughts in a notebook while seated in his Dodge truck. His note began with a plea to America, "Come together or die!!" He expressed his desire for retribution, stating, "I pray the motherf*cker that destroyed my life pay!!! I pray Boeing pays!!! Bury me face down so Boeing and their lying-ass leaders can kiss my ass.”

In a poignant message to his loved ones, Barnett wrote, “To my family and friends, I found my purpose. I’m at peace. I love you more.”

Throughout his tenure at Boeing, Barnett reportedly voiced concerns about the safety of the company's aircraft, but his warnings were allegedly disregarded by the leadership. His body was discovered on March 9, after he failed to attend a deposition concerning Boeing's safety protocols. His death, officially ruled a suicide, has sparked skepticism among many, including his family.

The Charleston Police Department, which disclosed the note, has concluded its investigation into Barnett's death, affirming it as a suicide. It was noted that Barnett had been grappling with PTSD and anxiety due to a "hostile work environment."

In 2019, Barnett made headlines when he revealed to the BBC that Boeing was allegedly rushing the assembly process and knowingly using substandard parts. He also claimed to have found issues with the emergency oxygen system, an allegation Boeing subsequently denied.

Boeing has recently come under intense scrutiny following a series of safety incidents involving its aircraft. An audit conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration earlier this year described Boeing's quality control issues as “unacceptable.”
