In a recent development, Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has encouraged voters to cast their ballots as "uncommitted" in the Michigan primary.

This move is seen as a bid to compel Joe Biden to pay heed to the leftist anti-Israel stance, demand a permanent ceasefire, and withdraw support for Israel's actions in Gaza.

Tlaib expressed her apprehension about a potential second term for Trump during a press conference on Thursday. "I am incredibly, incredibly scared of a second term for Trump. And I think it’s really important to emphasize this,” she stated. However, she stopped short of endorsing Biden or suggesting that voters should support the top of the ticket.

Tlaib underscored the importance of participating in the election, stating, “One thing that I know about staying home is you’re making us more invisible. I want you to exercise your right to vote.” She further encouraged voters to look beyond the top of the ballot, highlighting that many other candidates support a ceasefire.

The results of this strategy were significant, with over 100,000 votes or 13.3 percent of the total cast as "uncommitted." Biden lost in the city of Dearborn, and former President Donald Trump received more votes than Biden, with a difference of 139,000 votes as of Wednesday morning. This outcome suggests that Biden may face challenges in Michigan, where Trump leads by 5.1 percent according to the RCP average.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) responded to Tlaib's strategy with a humorous gif from The Simpsons, indicating his frustration with the anti-Israel, radical leftist faction.

Fetterman's humor triggered further reactions from the left, including Waleed Shahid, former spokesperson for the Justice Dems. Shahid questioned why Fetterman was more critical of Arab, Muslim, and young Democrats than of Israel's bombing of children and civilians.

Activist and former Bernie Sanders surrogate Nina Turner also weighed in, stating that voting uncommitted serves as a warning to the Biden administration. She suggested that Trump could win if Biden does not change his course.

Fetterman's actions also drew criticism from those who felt he was becoming indistinguishable from a Republican. Despite this, Fetterman appears to relish the opportunity to provoke the left, demonstrating his fearlessness and enjoyment in doing so.
