The Pueblo Police Department has identified the father of two missing children for over five years as a suspect in a double homicide case.

Jesus Dominguez, 35, has been taken into custody in connection with the tragic deaths of Yesenia Dominguez and Jesus Dominguez, Jr., as confirmed by the authorities.

The investigation initiated by the Pueblo Police in January took a grim turn when the remains of a child were discovered encased in concrete within a storage unit, and another child's body was found in a suitcase inside the trunk of a dismantled car. Following an interview with Jesus Dominguez and Corena Rose Minjarez, 36, who were initially considered persons of interest, Dominguez was apprehended on an existing warrant.

Subsequent DNA analysis on February 15 positively identified the recovered remains as those of Yesenia Dominguez and Jesus Dominguez Jr. Shockingly, there were no prior reports of the children's disappearance, with authorities only becoming aware on January 20, 2024.
