The reality is, one doesn't need to be a billionaire like Musk to understand the situation.
The truth is, President Biden and the Democrats are well aware of why the border crisis was instigated. They know why it was created, and now, so do we.
"Biden's strategy is very simple," Musk posted.
1. Allow as many undocumented immigrants into the country as possible.
2. Legalize them to establish a permanent majority — a one-party state.
Musk hit the nail on the head: "That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective."
In case you find yourself in disagreement with Musk and others who share his view, consider this straightforward question: What other reason could there be for Biden and the Democrats to deliberately create such a crisis?
In response to Biden's press release on January 26, in which he claimed he needed congressional authority and additional funds to "shut down" the border, Musk retorted:
No laws need to be passed. All that is needed is an executive order to require proof before granting an asylum hearing. That is how it used to be.
Indeed, Musk is correct on all counts.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) clarified in early January that Biden has the power to significantly reduce the record number of border crossings without any action from Congress.
"On his first day in office, President Biden came in and issued executive orders that began this chaos," Johnson told "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan in an interview in Eagle Pass, Texas. "Remain in Mexico is one of them."
The Remain in Mexico policy, officially known as the Migrant Protection Protocols, was introduced by the Trump administration in early 2019 to discourage migration to the U.S.-Mexico border. It required migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. to wait in Mexico until their court dates.
Mr. Biden terminated the policy shortly after taking office, labeling it as inhumane. After months of legal battles, federal courts ordered the government to reinstate it. The Supreme Court ruled in June 2022 that the Biden administration had the authority to end the program, and it is no longer being implemented.
Just as Biden intentionally created the border crisis, he knows he has the power to singlehandedly end it, and we know he has the power.
So why doesn't Biden put an end to it? Here's what he said in the aforementioned statement:
Let’s be clear. What has been negotiated would — if passed into law — be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country. It would give me, as President, a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law.
There are numerous issues with that statement, but let's focus on the most critical point:
The "toughest and fairest reforms to secure the border" would reportedly legally allow 5,000 aliens to enter the country annually. That's 1.825 million potential undocumented immigrants per year. Biden and the Democrats are thrilled with this prospect — precisely for the reasons Musk highlighted in his social media post.
If reputable polling organizations were stationed along the southern border, interviewing undocumented immigrants as they entered the country, and discovered that 75 percent would vote Republican if they were legalized (an unlikely scenario, but bear with me), Joe Biden and the entire Democratic Party would form a human barrier stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico to keep them out of the country.
