President Biden's latest fall has sparked controversy and concern after a video of him stumbling went viral on Thursday.

The incident occurred after he delivered a commencement speech at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Biden appeared to trip over a sandbag and fell to the floor but was quickly steadied by three Secret Service agents. White House communications director Ben Labolt confirmed that the President was fine and that a sandbag was on stage while he was shaking hands.

Video and images of the fall immediately spread across Twitter, with some users mocking media coverage compared to former President Donald Trump. In contrast, others attacked the scene as cruel and "reckless." RedState senior editor Brandon Morse commented, "Yeah, but at least he didn't make his way slowly down a ramp." Outkick founder Clay Travis wrote, "Joe Biden just took a big fall on the stage at the Air Force Academy graduation. This is elder abuse. He isn't well."

Several top Democrats have reportedly been nervous about Biden's health and have expressed concerns about him tripping again on the trail. In March 2021, Biden fell dramatically while boarding Air Force One. At the time, the White House insisted that he was "100% fine" and only stumbled due to the windy conditions. In another viral moment in 2022, Biden tumbled off his bike while addressing reporters in Delaware. He was immediately asked if he was okay, to which Biden replied, "I'm good."

The incident has raised questions about Biden's fitness to serve as President, with some critics calling it "elder abuse." Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, tweeted, "This is not funny. This is just sad. Under no circumstances should this man be our President in 2025. Praying for our country." The Federalist founder Sean Davis tweeted, "Imagine letting this guy run circles around you during debt ceiling negotiations. How embarrassing."

In contrast, Biden, and many mainstream media members mocked Trump over a video of the former President cautiously walking down a ramp at a West Point commencement. "Look at how he steps and look at how I step. Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps. Come on," Biden said in 2020.

The incident again brought attention to the age of the President, who is currently 80. While the White House has insisted that Biden is in good health, his falls have raised concerns about his ability to serve as President. As the debate over Biden's fitness to help continues, it remains to be seen how this incident will impact his presidency in the future.
