Despite some states passing laws to push back against radical leftist gender ideology and protect children from gender-transition surgeries and medical measures, Biden claimed that "Transgender youth in over a dozen States have had their medically necessary health care banned."
In his Pride Month proclamation, the president also highlighted his appointment of a "historic number of highly qualified openly LGBTQI+ judges and public servants at all levels of the Federal Government." He declared that his entire administration stands with the LGBTQI+ community in the fight for freedom, justice, and equality. Biden called upon Americans to recognize the achievements of the LGBTQI+ community, celebrate the diversity of the American people, and wave their flags of pride high.
