Roger Waters, the former Pink Floyd singer, continues to receive backlash over what many call antisemitic statements.

Documentarian Ian Halperin says that Waters profited off statements that aren't true. Now, things are heating up.

The backlash began after the Pink Floyd co-founder walked on stage wearing an S.S. uniform during a concert. The uniform was complete with a red armband and a fake rifle. During the performance, many say that antisemitic images were displayed. An inflatable pig soared above with banners that were Third Reich style. However, instead of swastikas, there were hammers crossed together.

According to Fox News, "The concert also featured the names of victims considered to have been killed by state actors, including George Floyd and anti-Nazi activist Sophie Scholl. The names display drew particular ire from Jewish organizations and Israel for listing Holocaust victim Anne Frank behind Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh."

There was instant criticism for various things. Now, that attitude towards Waters continues to grow as more people critique the images from the concert.

Halperin has a loud voice of criticism regarding the incident. He calls for more people to speak out and points out that if the message were against African Americans, everyone would be angry, but he says that no one seems to mind because it's against Jewish people. According to Halperin, Waters is attempting to divide people against the Jews.

However, he's not the only one that feels that way. Pink Floyd saxophone player Scott Page had a few opinions of his own. Fox News reports that Page said the anti-Waters documentary was accurate and that Page called Waters the dictator of the band.

Former band member David Gilmour expressed a similar opinion. According to Fox News, " 'Sadly @rogerwaters, you are antisemitic to your rotten core. Also, a Putin apologist and a lying, thieving, hypocritical, tax-avoiding, lip-synching, misogynistic, sick-with-envy megalomaniac. Enough of your nonsense,' Gilmour's wife Polly Samson tweeted." Her husband was quick to reply to the tweet in agreement.

The Simon Weisenthal Center wants to see Waters prosecuted because they allege he has distorted the Holocaust. Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, said Waters should never be allowed to spew his antisemitism and that Jew hatred is at an all-time high.

Halperin seeks to expose Waters and his shady history. According to Fox News, "In response to Waters' performance, Halperin informed Fox News Digital that he would lower the price for his film to expose the singer's history of antisemitism.
