In 2021, a possible U.F.O. with flashing lights was spotted flying over a United States Marine base.

Witnesses were baffled, but the government insisted it was a training exercise.

Jeremy Corbell was the only civilian named during a Congress hearing that happened in May 2022. He obtained pictures and footage of the unidentified object. He's a filmmaker and investigative journalist, making him a great person to look into the matter. According to Corbell, Camp Wilson witnesses described the object as large, hovering, and silent.

According to Fox News, "Sue Gough, a Department of Defense spokesperson, told Fox News Digital that a training course was going on at that time, and the Pentagon's office that tracks U.A.P.s, a government-derived acronym that means U.F.O., doesn't have any record of this incident."

According to Fox, an email from Gough said, "There is no record of communication with the base range control concerning a U.A.P. sighting, nor of the allocation of any base resources to investigate a U.A.P. sighting. A.A.R.O. does not have a record of this alleged event and cannot verify the report's authenticity."

Although the government says the report may not be authentic, reports indicate onlookers seeing the object from Camp Wilson. Much of Camp Wilson gets used for training, but there were still plenty of people on base. In the video footage, people can ask what the object is, and one person says we have aliens.

There are also interviews with people that are allegedly Marines but have no confirmed identification. Because of all this, many say that this is an insight into how underreported U.F.O.s are. Lawmakers feel the same way.

Per Fox News, "After the April 19 U.F.O. hearing in front of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities, Sens. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Marco Rubio, R-Fla., wrote a five-bullet-point letter to the Department of Defense, which Fox News Digital obtained."

One point was that there needs to be a procedure for people to safely share their stories, making it difficult for anyone to notify the government of U.F.O. sightings properly. Rubio says the government has been downplaying the threat for too long. What do you think?
